I just dismantled the complicated hard clear plastic and cardboard container that a fitbit flex came packaged in (and the sharp plastic edge almost sliced my thumb off) to put it in recycling. From Amazon. No possibility of shoplifting, no need to entice a customer walking past Why not at least use very simple packaging for things ordered online?

I remember when bulk food stores were a hot ticket, but they are few and far between now. I do think there were health issues at some of them. There wasn't necessarily less packaging--you still ended up with a couple of pounds of flour or nuts or whatever in a plastic bag vs buying it prepackaged in a plastic bag.

I didn't know they were edible! And all these years I've been throwing out good food, that really goes against the LBYM grain.

Oh, we always take the carton so the grandnieces can play with it. Remember how much fun a refrigerator carton was to play with?

I heard the call to do nothing. So I answered it.
