I live in St. Augustine (Near Ponte Vera) and would not move inland for all the tea. Been there in summer?

I must admit after 20 years in SoCAL (Laguna Beach) it did take some getting used to. But now it is great, laid back slow, great quality of life.

I have grown to love the NE Florida coast, good weather. I am 2 miles form the beach on the Island, but on the right side of A1A.

Home prices are stunning now. Country Club environments for the price of the suburbs. Great time to buy.

Type this into Google MAPS. (Not search Engine) "marsh creek country club 32080"

Soli Vita in Poinciana?

Does anyone have any input on SoliVita in Poinciana just south of Kissimmee as an over 55 community?

We liked Pensacola and the panhandle. As long as you don't need to work.

I live in Jacksonville. I've been here since 1993. I was stationed in a helicopter squadron out at Mayport NS and retired from the Navy in 1998. My family and I decided to stay and set up our homestead here since the kids were young, in school, and had many friends. Jacksonville has grown immensely over the past 15 years. It was more of a "quaint" small(ish) type of town/community back then. The cost of living was inexpensive and the weather ws unbeatable. I do believe it is still one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. Don't get me wrong.....I would recommend it to anyone looking to relocate to Florida.

SWR, I checked the website for Marsh. Do you by any chance know if they have rentals or do they only sell property?

Thanks,
George
