I probably do not have the exact seasons right! Hawaii waters are rough in any season (only place I get seasick) but yes winters are especially brutal. But actually I did get more of the impression of a living at the marina situation.

Well, I thought I was retired. But it seems that now I'm working as a travel agent instead!

My father's volunteered for a decade to do wildlife counts on his walks through national parks. When he fell & injured himself he was actually entitled to file a claim under their workmen's comp insurance. He didn't like the stigma of "workman" but he took the reimbursement anyway.

I guess the data goes into some sort of research file, but one particular national park also figured in a murder investigation with a missing body. Volunteers were able to show that an area of the park was attracting more than its share of scavengers and sure enough...

The book written on, "The Military Guide to Financial Independence and Retirement", on sale now! For more info see "About Me" in my profile.
I don't spend much time here anymore, so please send me a PM. Thanks.

Thanks Audrey! What a great system.
