Frayne is my middle name and an old family name of English origin. Been here since 02, retired in 05, I golf. If it weren't for gravity, lack of ability and law enforcement, I could reach my full potential.

We had a thread back in july:

http://www.early-retirement.org/foru...ere-72697.html

Quote:
The name itself comes from here

My Neighbor Totoro - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Why? It sort of fits on many dimensions. Fan of studio Ghibli, love the magical theme, forest spirit, ..

The name is also not used very often on forums and such. In contrast to an old username I used before (not here).

And of course: Catbus!

Download Neighbor Totoro Catbus Wallpaper 1600x900 | Full HD Wallpapers

I want my catbus ..

It's not unlike my real name. I'm just glad my parents didn't decide to call me "Dick".

At first it was a dream for the future. Since 1 June, 2013, it describes my present.

Definitely a lot of interesting stories. Thanks for sharing links to the prior threads. I need to practice more with the search features here.

If anyone is interested this appears to be the 5th time for the topic to come up.

2007. 18 responses
2011. 44
2012. 84
2014. 125. That one took a month
This one has 50 in a day.

I sense a trend.

Time to dance, just wish I knew how.

Cooch is the phonetic pronunciation of the first syllable of my surname. Cooch96 was the handle stitched onto my high school letterman jacket.

I'm from the Chicago area (and am a gal ), and have had various forms of ChicagoGal in many forums for decades now. I think it started with chatting on the old Prodigy message boards via a dial up modem, when everyone I knew thought I was crazy to have a computer IN MY HOUSE.

When I moved to the suburbs (18 years ago), I thought about changing it, but DuPageGal just didn't have the same ring.

Ed is one of my names and I traveled the world for work.

The current avatar is the old logo from Richland High. It says, "Proud of the Cloud". Richland is one of two places that made uranium for the first A-bombs. It is in-your-face politically incorrect, which is me. I am not a nice man.

I never went to RHS, by the way.

I don't think I had found this board during the last thread related to user names

Some say it is related to the fact that I was a nuclear submariner but they would be wrong
