Aw! Sorry about that.

I am so uninformed about football. When I was at the University of Hawaii back in the 1960's, I think the team was called the Rainbows. So, I guess I was sending my good wishes to the wrong team!

Anyway, I am glad that the visitors of Hawaii were well treated with Louisiana's version of "Aloha spirit".

I looked at the study and it supported my contention that NY and NC are lockstep in many areas like tax rates, health care, legislation, and goods and services pricing.

The most obvious difference is the weather, after that... well hey, maybe thats enough.

The former UH football coach, June Jones, was unofficially quoted as saying that he thought the word "Rainbow" was... well, never mind. He's gone now.

Don't throw away your "Go Bows" t-shirts yet. There's a swell of sentiment that the team name should be returned to "Rainbow Warriors".

June Jones' final press conference also expressed the sentiment that he'd spend 8-10 years at SMU and then return to the islands to retire. He'll need lotsa luck with that.

My classmates at UH and I always thought "Rainbows" was a great name for our team. Sort of like a boy named Sue (or June?). They had to really go all out!

Personally, I think "Rainbow Warriors" is a cool name, even if it is a bit long.
