My DW will be joining the class of ER 2011 on April 1 (2 months after my retirement). We are both looking forward to spending more time together.

Hey thanks Midpack. You updated my date for me and put the little wavey smiley too. I guess its ok to be "green" now but officially I have 3 working days left. The 31st doesn't count.

Oops, got ahead of myself. I guess I granted you a few days off work before the official last day, can I do that?

A big kudos to Midpack for putting all the work in to keeping this list updated! (not to mention creating it in the first place...)
As we move along, it'll be good if people would update the list themselves, as suggested. I've just been "quoting" the most recent version, removing the markup tags, and so on. Next time I update will hopefully be when I exit the working world.
I bet this list will hit the century mark! After all, it's not yet April!

Thanks Midpack for including me.
My wife retired about a year ago. I can't wait to join her in about 3 months. We plan to spend time in Florida during the winter and then back to Ontario Canada for the summer. Our son has a home in the Muskoka Lakes. Great fishing and lots of wilderness.

You're all welcome. I have work-friends in Guelph that I have known for 20 years. Beautiful area, except maybe in winter...brrrrrrrrrrrr.

Congratulations Dessert! I am sure it feels great. I still have a WHOLE MONTH to go. Seems like time is slowing down. Where is that fast forward button when you really need it?

Congrats! Do you have an end date in mind (the red entry)?

Thanks. Exact date is TBD but should be mid-July to late August depending on how we handle vacation. I'll update when I know more.

I feel old looking at this list. I am one of the few on the 60's age. In fact, aside from my DW, I am the oldest.

Thanks for updating.
You're not old at all, compare to the mainstream population, not this bunch here. And besides, you're eligible for Soc Sec, closer to Medicare eligibility and past the 59½ restrictions unlike most of us - I'd be happy about that if I was you. In fact, I'd trade age with you if I could...
And congrats to DW on today!!!
