4/30 for me. Gave a month notice and no replacement in sight. I process retirements and handle employee benefits, and plan a pretty stiff hourly rate if they start calling me.

My last day is May 23rd. I worked construction for 12yrs then made a career change. I've been w*rking in IT at MegaCorp for 29yrs. Time really went by quickly. I can't wait for the day when someone doesn't ask me a "what's wrong with my computer or why is the network slow" question. Now it's time for me and DW to unwind and take some time for ourselves and family. This forum has provided me with a lot entertainment as well as inspiration.

Yippeeee!... I'm officially class of 2014.....my business sold today. Only issue is since I'm there through the transition, I guess I cant say I'm officially retired until sometime in June or July.
