After a picnic in the Gulf Islands, south of Salt Spring, we caught this sunset made up of jet trails at the end of a sunny cloudless day.

The NK'Mip Winery where we stayed is renowned for its whites and Pinot Noire.

This is the Indian Brave sculpture out of metal that is a signature piece upon entry to their reserve.

Norway 2 The day before was so foggy that you couldn't see 50 ft. This morning we took the road that went above the Aurlandsfjord and got a pretty cool view of fog low on the water.

From our recent Colorado trip to see Aspen colors. Used my new Lumix FZ1000 Panorama mode and then some cropping. Still have a lot to learn.Wish I had this camera 30 years ago when I was "really" into photography.

Frayne, That's a beautiful moon shot.

Khan, WHERE have you been? Been thinking of you since the hurricane hit Florida. Hope all is well.

Used my DSLR Canon 70D, Lens-Canon 100-400L mm with a 2x converter giving an approx 1280 mm vocal length. Shot at ISO 200, F-20, SS 1/50. One of twenty shots last night.

And a tripod and remote switch/timer, I assume. In any event, kudus for a great shot.

Thanks, splitwdw.

I have been finding that the photos from my wife's Canon T5i are more grainy than I like, so we are replacing it with a Nikon D5300.

Another shot from Norway.

Yes, tripod and cable shutter release, also locked up the mirror to reduce vibration. Sorry if I left that out.

Thanks

I'm on west coast of Florida, just some breezy weather and rainy days from Mathew.

Thanks-

1. Tower of London
tripod ISO100 32mm F16 4sec wireless shutter release
3 exposure HDR & edited in NIK (Google) Color EFEX4 Tonal Contrast preset

2. Big Ben
tripod ISO100 18mm F16 15sec wireless shutter release
edited in NIK (Google) Color EFEX4 Tonal Contrast preset
Started exposure when traffic was such to get best light trails - tried to take
shot when busses were present

3. Tower bridge
tripod ISO100 30mm F16 20sec wireless shutter release
edited in NIK (Google) Color EFEX4 Tonal Contrast preset

4. Cliffs of Moher
No tripod ISO 180 32 mm F14 1/200
edited in NIK (Google) Color EFEX4 Tonal Contrast preset

5. Ross Castle
No tripod ISO 500 16 mm F13 1/400
edited in NIK (Google) Color EFEX4 Tonal Contrast preset

6. Trinity College long room
No tripod ISO 6400 16 mm F4 1/80
edited in NIK (Google) Color EFEX4 Tonal Contrast preset

7. Trinity College
tripod ISO100 22mm F20 2sec wireless shutter release
3 exposure HDR & edited in NIK (Google) Color EFEX4 Tonal Contrast preset

All photos were edited in Lightroom, minimizing highlights and bumping clarity up a bit before applying Color Efex4 Tonal Contrast preset
