Tough Spending Decision

My sis has had a very, very elderly cat.. a cat that adopted them back in LA. They have no idea of the cat's age but probably 18 at the very least.. ANyway, while I was visiting recently sis said the cat hadn't been eating well and had teeth problems, and she called the vet to see when the cat could be looked at (this was Friday pm). With a Monday morning appt. we gave the cat some pureed meat baby food (less bothersome than the regular canned) but the cat wandered off overnight (unusual) and made a only brief appearance on Saturday. By Sunday the cat was really nowhere to be found and Monday morning the appt. was cancelled. The cat just walked off into the sunset, never to be seen or heard from again. :'(

Brave and wise cat.
Here's to Sophie!
