Well, that's that

An interesting four days:
Friday - closed on our newly purchased home
Saturday - moved out of our recently sold condo
Sunday - moved into our new home
Today - closed on our condo and...I retired!

It all feels kind of surreal.

That's a busy 4 days for sure, but good that you got it all done and the sales and purchase worked out. Best part is now being retired you have plenty of time to settle in to the new house.

That's a lot of life changes to experience in 4 days. Congratulations.

We moved 4/2016, and I've still not got my old house cleaned out to put on the retail market. It's just a bunch of hard work.

Hopefully you're settled and life's normalizing now. And now it's time to go on vacation since you're retired.

Congrats! DH can relate. We placed our home of 30 years on the market, DH retired that same week and left for a golf vacation. House sold while he was gone. It took a month to close, but we cleared, cleaned and moved during that time. It was hectic, but he is enjoying retirement now
