I have used alarm clock 4 times since retiring in Dec '04; have forgotten a few times that it was Monday (trash recycle day).

Have made it a habit to check day/weather every morning.

I retired a year ago and it drove me crazy not remembering which day of the week it was. I got the day clock it was an instant relief. I'm better now but still have to check it once in a while.
