What song did (or will) you leave with?

Title self-explanatory.

Mine was "Statesboro Blues", Allman Brothers Fillmore.

A Brad Paisley song says it all for me:

When a freight train jumps off a track and rolls down my road
And it's summer time in Texas and they're playing in the snow
When politicians everywhere stop telling lies and only state the facts
Right then, that's when I'll take you back
Let's say I get bucked off a bull and fall and hit my head
And then I get amnesia and forget the things you said
I lose my better judgment and I take up smoking crack
Right then, that's when I'll take you back
Go on keep trying, come on keep calling
You know I like it when you come crawling
It's like music to hear you balling
Waa, waa, waa, waa, waa
When Donald Trump takes a part time job parking cars
When Clint Eastwood does ballet in a big pink leotard
And a donkey wins the Derby as he takes his victory lap
Right then, that's when I'll take you back
Go on keep trying, come on keep calling
You know I like it when you come crawling
It's like music to hear you balling
Waa, waa, waa, waa, waa
The day that old morning sun rises in the west
And they pass a law in L.A. banning artificial breasts
When cars can run on water, gasoline and oil ain't worth jack
Right then, that's when I'll take you back
Go on keep trying, come on keep calling
You know I like it when you come crawling
It's like music to hear you balling
Waa, waa, waa, waa, waa
It's like music to hear you balling
Waa, waa, waa, waa, waa

I was envisioning a funeral song when I saw the title.
Guessing you meant work leaving instead.
Probably the same for both, if I'm able to make the request:

I also thought it was going to be a funeral music thread and for my funeral I want some ZZ Top. I have already briefed my granddaughter on this and she has promised it will happen.

Every girl's crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man. And a subtle drummer!

Haha, I'm a fan of McMurtry mostly as a songwriter. He's a craftsman for sure. We are lucky that he comes touring to SC from his native Texas a few times a year so we get to see him.
