Nope - only made the flag. I picked up the sign from a vendor at a flea market or Nascar race - I can't remember.

I made "fence facades" for the front of the garage to replace the rotting bricks and mortar that was there before.

I started this wall hanging in January, worked on it regularly all year, and was happy to finish it in time to display this Christmas. I didn't keep track of the time spent, but I'd estimate at least 120 hours.

It's 55" x 66". This is the first project I've done with such detailed stitching and in retrospect I should have started with a smaller item. My technique improved over the course of the project and I can see the mistakes I made in the early stages, but hopefully they are not glaringly obvious to the casual observer. (If anyone who visits me is rude enough to mention the mistakes, they can get out!)

Do you have some sort of cookie printer? The detail on those is incredible...

This made me . Just got home from work where we had a lot of meetings today. The last meeting, guess President was getting tired, someone made a sarcastic comment about some mistakes (just little things) in the presentation and they were told to "get out of this room!". Never saw our Prez so mad.
Almost forgot to compliment you on the wallhanging, really nice work.

First off I would like to say there is some very talented people here! Here some carving I do they are all hand carved NO electric tools used just old fashion hand tools. They are about 28 inches high and are cottonwood logs. I just start and the carving just takes me to the end. I don't look at pictures just an idea of what I want to do. I can't turn picture sorry for that.

street,

Your carvings are fabulous! I want one - send a PM to tell me where you live and the next time I'm in your area I want to stop by and buy one!

There are so many interesting hobbies people on this forum are doing on regular basis - I'm amazed time and time again.
