Wreaths Across America

Beautiful day today at Mass National Cemetery on Cape Cod for the local version of Wreaths Across America. A nice and moving ceremony recognizing departed vets and lots of Christmas wreaths for family members and volunteers to place on individual graves.

This is a great thing.

Many people underestimate, or under appreciate, the sacrifices that are necessary for a free country. If not for our Vets, we would likely be speaking a different language today.

I hadn't heard of this before but a friend who came over for dinner last night was at Arlington placing wreaths yesterday. He said there were thousands there participating.
