I have to say I really like all the pictures Cut-Throat has ever presented. The biggest trout I ever caught was 2#, so just looking at his fish is very nice. Not to mention the landscape qualities *

Re: Any BETTER Boards??

Yeah, I like Cut-Throat's pics also (and I thought his wife was "cute") It's a nice diversion from the
constant debate over SWR.

What are you doing to make it better?

Geez, Tommy, what are you contributing to the board?

You've asked a heckuva lot of questions and used our resources like your personal Yellow Pages directory. Now what can YOU do for this board?

Of course with your current attitude, your departure will dramatically improve the board!

I'm sure the Vanguard Diehards will welcome you with open arms...

Re: Any BETTER Boards??

Hey, Cut-Throat,
Keep the fish pix coming.
They symbolize ER for me better than anything.

But the original poster has a point: most of this stuff-- SWR, Coffee-House Investing, etc. should be simple enough that after awhile you get it. That is the point! Saving for ER is hard, keeping yourself sane in ER may be challenging, but only Wall St wants us to believe that all the financial and investing stuff is really complicated and needs them to be involved for 2% a year.

Simple as all these mechanics of ER may be, once you are actually ER, your whole world changes. You aren't working like a dog anymore. You can go have a life. You can do something important or lounge around all day. It's Freedom, what our Founding Fathers put in the Declaration of Independence and called "the Pursuit of Happiness", and only a tiny group of people seem to be living it. That's gotta be worth something.
