Future forum members? Super Young Retirement Savers (CNN-Money.com article)

Typical short n sweet financial porn to us, but perhaps enough of a motivator for the masses to get them to start thinking?

Super Young Retirement Savers - Yahoo! Finance

my executive summary - Short profiles on 6 teens with stashes ranging from $1,000 to $300,000.

Doesn't quite explain too well how the 18-year old amassed $300k....she admits that "sometimes my parents match the amount". Sounds like a multiplier: "Save $100 and we'll give you $8,000". Otherwise, that's too many babies to sit, especially given income taxes that she presumably paid. Either that, or she bought a handful of waaaay out-of-the-money options and should be writing an options newsletter.

Interesting to see how different teens approach the savings game. And some of the ideas (tutoring people in Hebrew over the net) are pretty inventive.
