I'm leaving, goodbye ER forum!

I have decided to permanently delete my ER forum account. It requires way too much time and is detracting from my relationships with real world family and friends and is destroying personal and work productivity. So goodbye!

Over the years I have found many friends here and established a number of relationships I hope to maintain. I have learned a lot about investing, finances and so much more. So thank you to all for making this a wonderful community!

I will try to check in later and respond to posts here one final time.

With what April 1 has become on the Internet, last night before I went to bed I put a sticky note on my monitor that says "TAKE NOTHING SERIOUSLY TODAY!"

Fuego, you don't seem like an April Fool Joker, so if you are leaving I am sorry to see you go.

Best of luck!

Like I believe that--you know it is sooooo much easier to just tell the family, friends, and career that they were taking up too much of my time and effort.

Tell it like it is, Fuego. Many of us would like to see you check in when you can. Take some wooden nickels, they’re great collectibles. Au revoir, not adieu.

And I renounced my GOP Membership, sold my guns, and my truck, threw away my boots, traded my dog for a cat, joined the DEM's, ACLU, PETA, Greenpeace, and bought a pair of used Birkenstocks and a new Prius. After tofu and sprouts for lunch, I am going to the post office to send a check to ACORN.

...and change my avatar.

If it's not an April Fools joke I'm sorry to see you go . Lots of posters have taken breaks to get back to the real world and returned refreshed .
