Third stage, fund the Roth to max Jan 2nd, EF still funded, save rest of $ into a taxable account.

Fourth stage, fund Roth Jan 2nd from taxable, merge EF into Taxable, safe rest of $ into taxable.

Fifth stage, retire early.
This is basically what I was hoping for. This phased plan outlines very well what I had going on in my head. Thanks for articulating it for me.

3. Debt that has a high interest rate. (you pick what high means)
Let me quick chime in on these in order (I'm 24...)
1. 0% personal contribution required to get match!
2. My 401k does not have good investments and they are expensive
3. No debt other than mortgage
