Detailed RSS Thread?
Some time back one of the admins told me he would look into whether it is possible to do an RSS feed containing all postingss (both initial posts and the responses) but I never heard back. As I have mentioned my ability to follow the threads is much constrained in the new system. I used to skim by summaries of all posts and responses in my reader and jump in when a thread got interesting. The new posts search feature is not helpful since it does not show what people are saying.
Any help on the way?

Don, sorry it's been so long, here is an RSS that emulates the setup that SMF is using.
http://www.early-retirement.org/forums/latest_posts.php It's currently set to show the last 20 posts (400 characters). I'll talk to the developer to see if we can add options to include/exclude forums from the feed so people can customize it. |
