Long URLs suck

Is there anything that can be done about long URLs stretching out the table widths? Makes it hard to read the latest 50 posts if you have to keep scrolling the window back and forth horizontally.

If you're posting you can do something like this:

[ url=http://early-retirement.org/forums/index.php]erforum[/url]

Without the space after the bracket; that looks like this:

erforum
