"Show new posts" shows posts including ones you're the most recent responder to...the old s/w only showed threads with new posts in them, not including ones where you are the most recent poster.
This way is less useful, IMO.

I just changed the session management system, please give it a few hours to cycle through and then take a look. I am not 100% sure it will exclude posts where you are the last poster, but we will find out.
Doing a search on a users posts seems to be limited to the first 500 results.
Which is a bit limiting if you're searching for something someone with 2500 posts said a long time ago.
I will be tweaking the search features in the weeks to come. I will keep this in mind but the results will probably not be increased more then 500 as it taxes our database server which could slow down the rest of our site. If you are looking for something specific you can try to refine your search to reduce the results (I would hate to sift through 2,500 posts). Alternatively you can go to a member's profile and use the find all posts by this member feature...
This is extremely minor, but is there a way for a user to change their username? On the old board I had changed it to upper-case "SC". Judging from TH's post (not appearing as CFB), I guess we all got reset back to our original names.
I am not really Ms. Jennifer, but am Martha. I put in my various emails and only this identity that I used for the day of the Jennifer gave me a password. Poor Martha doesn't get one.
I emailed support, I assume others are having problems.
Also, my husband is unable to get his password because the email address he originally registered with is no longer a functioning email address. What do we do in those situations?
I tried to search all open forums for "VIPSX" and got 0 hits.
Searching for "bunny" also got 0 hits, and you *know* that text is in the forum somewhere...
Working on this now, the search index is bring rebuilt, it will be another couple hours for this to be done. Then searching should be working properly.

Yes, if you want to make a username change, just fill in the form via the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page. Then we can get your username updated for you.

Martha, I mean Jennifer, I mean...
Please have your husband use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page and have him put his user name and old email address (for identification purposes) in the body of the text. We will also need his new email address.
We can then change the email address on file and have the system send him a new password.
Also, I sent you an email since you are on the Mod team, please email me and I get your accounts merged and permissions updated properly.
