Size limitation on attachments?

Sorry if this information is somewhere on this forum, but I can't find it. How big of a file, in either KB or MB. can a poster attach to a message on this forum?

64K -- Can we raise this, Daddy? All the other forums have bigger limits.

Thanks guys. That is a small amount - 64k - but it probably does really cut down on bandwidith that must be paid for.

Re: Size limitation on attachments?

You can open a free account at Photobucket.com, upload a bunch of photos of any reasonable size there, then use the (img) link that photobucket creates for you (see it below each photo) to post here, but just cutting that text starting with (img) and ending with (/img) and pasting that into a post.

There are facilities in photobucket to cut the size of a photo in half, and once halved, it can continue to be halved. A few cranky cheap bastards lbym users are still using dialup internet with orange juice cans and string and will get annoyed if you post a lot of 2MB files into a thread.
