Stubborn subscriptions

I have several threads that keep sending me daily update notices, even though my User CP says I'm not subscribed to them. (I manually unsubscribed.)

I have removed the email subscription notification feature for you. Let me know if you are still having a problem.

I thought the thread was going to be about magazines that keep sending you "Final Offer! Renew your subscription right away before it's too late!" notices when your 3-year subscription still has two years to run. The New Yorker keeps doing that to us. (The part about "expires 2013" is in 5-point agate type that we old people can barely see).

I think I see the problem. When I went into the user CP it said there were no subscribed threads. But then I saw the "list subscribed threads" link and whoops, there they were. Confusing, but now I think I see how to get it to do what I want.
