Another spreadsheet bug?
Dory,
A few more issues on the spreadsheet (spreadsheet attached I think): 1) Shouldn't cells C3 and C40 be equal - the first year of inflation adjusted withdrawals. Cells C4 and C41 are equal. 2) Shouldn't cells J3 and J40 be equal. None of the corresponding year cells in the J column are equal. 3) I have a sample portfolio of 100% S&P 500 and have selected "A mixed portfolio consisting of the following assets" but the lower section of the spreadsheet show my portfolio in fixed income starting in cell O40. Same for column T. 4) Should withdrawals in the first year of the simulation be adjusted for inflation at all? I had assumed firecalc withdraws the yearly withdrawal at the beginning of the period. Just trying to make it better for all of us. Thanks for your work. Cadence |
