Bug Report

In FIRECalc Classic there appears to be a bug where the results are always based on a "Percentage of your portfolio that is in stocks and stock funds" of 75%... regardless of the actual entry.* Changing that value and resubmitting doesn't affect the outcome and the "Display input data" link on the results always shows 75%.

I was wondering why my results looked so good at even 0% stock!

Re: Bug Report

Uh-oh!

I was playing around with FireCalc again a couple weeks ago, using the Classic because it fits my needs the best. I varied the percent of stock from 60% to 65%, solving for max withdrawal at 100% probability of success. I noticed then that there was no difference between those two allocations. I thought that was odd, but thought maybe it was a sweet spot, and I didn't have time to investigate further... a bad assumption on my part!

Re: Bug Report

Telly -- call in and rescind that resignation!

Sorry -- it's fixed now.
