I was wondering how to show my pension in the other income/spending category as inflation adjusted. While it is inflation adjusted it is only adjusted to 1/2 inflation or 3% whatever is less. Any thoughts?

You can create two income/spending items, one inflation adjusted and the other not. The 3% limit would suggest placing more in the non-COLA item than the COLA item. That's all I can think of, and it won't come close to simulating that 3% limit.
