If you input a date earlier than the current year, FIRECalc will return inaccurate results and show substantially higher than normal failure rates.

FIRECalc was designed to use only the current or future years in all date input fields. Unfortunately the program will accept any date and not warn you should you input a historical rather than current or future year.

Could a mod/admin add a FAQ section for FIRECALC? It would be good to have the anomalies/bugs, and interpretation issues in one place.
