Baldness linked to heart disease

Warning - Listening to health studies can be hazardous to your health!

One thing I've long believed about health news is that stressing over suboptimal lifestyles or genetics can be just as hazardous to your health as letting yourself go with a bacon cheeseburger once in a while and enjoying life.

All things in moderation and that philosophy has reasonable limits, of course, but I don't see how stressing or obsessing about every last thing you do for your health is, itself, healthy....

Wonder if this baldness-heart disease connection could be related to a common occupational hazard-

Not sure about that...did you see the Taco Bell ad during the Super Bowl...where the gang broke out of the retirement home and went hog-wild? One white-haired lady appeared to be getting it on with a guy 1/3 her age....:D:LOL::dance:

A.

I see it as payback for the ratio in the bar scene in your 20s. The women called the shots at that age, but in elderhood, the tables are turned....

Face it, guys. Just being a MAN will get you.

I look around at my dad's senior living place, and as is so typical, the ratio is more than 2 women to each man.

They found a cure for that. Men were proned to accidents while asleep. Now many nursing homes give the men a Viagra pill with their milk and cookies to stop them rolling out of bed

I started losing my hair when I was 14 and I can't think of a single male relative that has not lost most of his hair; I also can't think of a single relative that has had any heart problems. My Dad had the best comment when anyone would mention his being bald; "I'm just taller than my hairline".

Mine started going at 15. Welcome to the club!

It sucked in high school and college, but today I just laugh, laugh, laugh. The vanity of some of these 40-something guys cracks me up. Now I get the revenge.
