Better Deal

Humana jacked us from $375 a month on a 10K deductible HSA to $1,100 a month 7 k deductible. We are a couple 58 and 63 in Georgia....good health. AGI 70 k.
Any better deals out there ??

Have you checked Health Sherpa, Value Penguin or Healthcare.Gov? Any of those should give a quick overview of all the policy options available to you.

If you can get your AGI down to about $60k I think you would qualify for some steep subsidies to bring the cost down to ~$500/mo on a silver plan.

Isn't it comforting to know that if your total medical bills reach $7001 for the year, you paid $20,000 for to get the $1 assistance from the insurance company. The only positive out of this for you, is maybe you can now deduct part of your premiums on your taxes as you are certainly above the 10% AGI.
