Thanks for sharing so candidly, and congratulations on your wife's recovery!!

Poor BIL, how can anybody ever be sure they did the right thing in a case like that? We have a friend, a "never sick a day in my life" clean-living person, who went into the hospital for fairly minor surgery, contracted MRSA, nearly died from it, and has never been the same since.

Sorry about your BIL--it must have been especially hard for your DW and you to see him go through the same illness.
