Intentional early awakening so I can rush into all my leisure activities for the day? Naahhh. Sure, if there's something specific to set the alarm for, but otherwise I'll let my body clock will find its 8 hrs a day at its leisure.

Gotta go take a nap. Oh... wait.. I haven't retired yet.

I only set the alarm clock if I absolutely HAVE to be somewhere fairly early. Otherwise, I wake up when I wake up. Of course I usually wake up about 5:30am, turn on the radio, and listen to the news and weather. Some times I drift back to sleep....some times I get moving. It doesn't matter if I hit the pillows at 10pm or 1am....I wake up about 5:30am. Always well rested, too.

As for an afternoon siesta.....I try to work one in about everyday around 1:30 or 2:00, for about an hour. Very refreshing!!!

I went through it this week as the people I vacationed with do not drink any caffeine. They did have alot of caffeine free Coke, so I think it kind of fooled my body. And I ate eggs/biscuits/gravy/steak everyday too so that helped hehe.
