Alas, I have the high LDL Attia does not like, and the very good Trig/HDL ratio that Sigurdsson likes.

Yeah, so do I. I'm betting that Sigurdsson is correct, and that I/we don't have a lot to worry about. Just for the heck of it, I convinced my doc to order the LDL particle size test for me about 6 months ago, to see what it would show. As I expected (since my triglycerides and HDL are quite good), the test showed that the vast majority of my LDL particles are the large, fluffy type. So, I'm more convinced than ever that LDL-C is a pretty useless indicator of CVD risk (along with total cholesterol). I won't be taking a statin anytime soon, that's for sure.......
