Not sure I understand your exact question. But for more info on HSA accounts, providers, here are a few links:
HSA Insider - The Nation's Leading Authority on Health Savings Accounts
HSA Bank - National Leader in Health Savings Accounts

One thing to remember there are TWO parts to doing the HSA thing---1) getting a HDHI--high deductible health insurance policy, and (2) putting funds into an HSA savings account to save up to pay deductibles, copays, other uncovered medical expenses.

HSAs are a growing thing. More and more people are getting HSA qualified health insurance policies from their insurance carriers, and in tandem with this, more and more people are putting money into HSA savings/investment accounts.

Search HSA in the forum search engine - there have been several discussions about this. I am personally leaning toward Patelco to replace my current provider.

So when I check on ehealthinsurance.com, and see high deductible plans that are HSA-eligible (thorugh a provider like Anthem), they list 4 HSA administrator under HSA options. I'm not bound to any of those HSA options? I can just pick my own HSA administrator?

Yep. You choose any administrator you want, not necessarily one on their list.

Thanks! I suspect they make that purposefully unclear, to steer you towards their tie-ins.

I have a HSA with Health Savings Administrators. I went with them last year because they were the only place that offered Vanguard funds and the fees seemed low compared to others I checked out. I've been happy with them so far but I haven't really done anything except deposit money each year, no withdrawals.
