Dental Discount

I recently went to my dentist for a cleaning and panoramic x ray. After examining the bill I noticed that it included a 10% senior discount. I thanked them for the discount without me asking or knowing about it, and was told that this how they keep their long time folks that turn 65 by giving them a little cut in price. I realized that they knew my BD and I turned 65 since the last time I went.

I wonder how many other discounts are out there that I do not know about?

Here are my specific dental costs for the visit. How does it compare with what you guys pay?

Infection Control $12
Prophylaxis $59
Fluoride $19
Panoramic x ray $81
Oral Eval (by dentist)$33

It looks about right. I don't have dental insurance and my dentist takes few insurance plans, but I think this is about what I pay here in PA. I don't get a panoramic X-ray at all at my dentist's but I get bite-wings every year, cleanings every six months, fluoride treatment every visit(which is every 6 months). I am very satisfied.
