Give me a museum and I'll fill it. (Picasso) Give me a forum ...
I recently had an ultrasound procedure on my legs at a local military hospital. The doctor has recommended that I undergo laser ablation process to kill off a troublesome greater saphenous vein that is not functioning as it should.
I have researched the procedure, read literature and asked many questions of the doc. Since I am not experiencing any pain with the current state of my right leg, I am not in a big hurry to get it done even though the procedure has a high success rate and low complications rates. That said, I will probably get it done in hopes that it will keep me healthy in the long run.
Has anyone else had this procedure done? Was it as easy as it seems?
