Sounds like good news for Florida 2020 ACA.

In addition to two new carriers, looks like premiums stabilizing too.

Returning companies are seeking rate increases that average 1.2 percent overall, according to state regulators. That’s far less than the 8.8 percent sought for 2019 and the 17.8 percent requested for 2018.

Yep, we got two new ones here in the ATL (Oscar and CareSource) and premiums are stable. But they're still cherry-picking counties to serve.

Both of these new companies in Atlanta seem to be additional low-end narrow network providers. For those who receive subsidies, additional low-end companies may be bad news, as the benchmark second lowest silver plan may become less expensive, leading to reduced subsidies.
