Got a Rebate Check from my Health Insurance co due to Obamacare Rules

I thought this was interesting: I just got a nice letter from Capital Blue telling me they were required by ACA to issue me a check for $103 since they spent less than 80 percent of their total received premiums on actual health care services, as opposed to salaries and advertising, in 2014.

I got notification of one as well. It is enough to pay a couple of months premiums.

Our company got checks several years in a row. The company applied the funds to employee "welfare", ie. a breakfast at a staff meeting 😡. Their explanation was the money was too small to make a difference to the staff.

Have the day you deserve, and let Karma sort it out.
