There should be someone out there who can help. Its not like you are the only one that ever had this problem in the history of the human race.

There are quite a few DO's working with workmens comp cases.
They see many strains--sprains--pains--pulls-- well you get the idea.

FWIW, we always go with a DO. They often tend to go for solving the problems rather than pumping pills to cover up the symptoms.

People also arent sure WTF they are and think automatically that they're weird medical practitioners or that they dont have the same training as an MD. That means they're often more available and accepting patients, which is great if you're in a tight plan like Kaiser.

Ha
I'll tell you exactly who has that self massage book---it's a pack of nine year old boys and you can find them and the book in the darkest corner of your library--just follow the giggling.

Perhaps the women on this forum can come together and give Haha a hand.

There is a "one eyed monster" joke lurking there, if I am any judge.

I actually thought something along the lines of "aha, so it does make you blind"---but it's a slow night

So you're saying you'd like to judge a one eyed monster contest?

I suspected that Subaru thing worked in reverse for men. You're a reverse lesbian.

I guess it wouldn't help if I were to point out to you gentlemen that a groin pull actually involves the hip muscles.

But who needs accuracy when we are having so much fun?

Ha

Ha
Hmmm, a groin pull using the hip muscles? Sounds really different and maybe a little kinky---but, could be worth a try

OK - dangerous place to jump in but...

I had a groin pull a few years ago, and it happened while I was recovering from a bad back. I think the fact that I was using all those back & hip muscles differently while trying to be careful with my back had something to do with the strain.

I never did see a doctor about it, figuring I would just get pain pills - but that may have been an ignorant move on my part. From what I read, it can take a long time to heal - like 6 months. So I was careful for a couple months, and slowly went back to stretches and some more exercise. I try to do lunges most days for my knees, along with a bunch of other stretches to keep my back in shape. I *always* take that first lunge gingerly.
