I figure we should have one spot to discuss how the Federal Exchange web site is working this year. I read in the paper that they announced yesterday that you could logon today for plan previews. DC has it's own site so I browsed using the zipcode of my weekend house in rural VA. If they had designed the original with this unregistered browsing feature they might have avoided a lot of pain and suffering.

In any event, my browsing experience was smooth sailing on an iPad. Easy to view plans and pull up details. Kind of nice for ACA enrollees who are thinking of moving. You can browse potential locations with ease. It will be interesting to see how the site performs for registered users and on various platforms. Phone browsers anyone?

No issues on Samsung tablet or Firefox PC browser. Easy and fast.

I looked at the site last night using my iPad just to get an idea of my options. No problems. I did find, however, that one of the insurers I'm looking at, Cigna, will not have their provider list available until Nov. 15.
