I started back to the gym

About a week ago I got a doctors note saying I can workout upper body but nothing too strenuous on the bottom half. Had bunion/osteootomy/screw 7wks ago. Im doing Group Power classes. I do extra squats when they do lunges, staying off the toes. Want to work back up to Step classes.

Ive done the Cybex weight machines a few times. Trying to get onto them about 3/4x per week

Gradually working my way back up to walking outside. Im now on 19x around our .2 circle. Want to be able to walk the hour down/back center of town, coffee shop.
Want to be able to get back onto the treadmill too.

Good luck. Doing it the right way it sounds like. Start out slow.

Good for you for trying to get back into your exercise routine.

Maybe I missed it, but can you tell us how the bunion surgery went? I'm afraid I am destined for the same sometime in the future......
