IL and the Onion team up to sell Health Insurance

I mocked the state of Illinois in the past for their silly Python Pension.

However this plan to team up with The Onion to produce a series of satirical ads to convince young invincible to buy Health Insurance seems like a good idea. More here

Il deserves mocking as the state is in disarray. I live here and see it every day.

Since the ads appear in The Onion, are we sure it's real?

I'm just being sarcastic.

If I were in charge of HHS or a state analogue, I'd think long and hard before deliberately employing the tool of satire along with their other information-dissemination efforts.
