Impressive!!

Thank you :greetings10:

I don't think we'll be able to resist not being weighed over the next 7 months so I'm expecting that we'll end up buying a scale while we are in England. Last year we were there for 10 weeks and didn't weigh in until we got back. I was 174 just before we left and 180 when we got back.

We're hoping to do better this time

Oh wow, didn't know you were going to England for 7 months. Awesome! And, uh, yeah...I'd need to buy a scale for sure - I know most don't recommend it, but weighing in every day is the only way for me to stay close to maintenance range. It's a daily battle, but worth it!

Congratulations.

I still use my WW 10% loss key ring that I got in 2003. It's a bit faded now but still a nice reminder. Do they still hand-out key rings for the 10%'ers ?

I posted this back in July:

7/7/10 255 :( 2 months ago I weighed 241! Gotta get a handle on it...

Unfortunately, as of yesterday (and today) I STILL weigh 255, actually...255.5.

So NOW, I'm absolutely 100% positively gonna do something about it! I have to. My blood pressure, sugar, and cholesterol are all too high. If I don't get my weight down, I'm not gonna be here long after I ER, or even if I am still here, I might likely not be able to enjoy it. So....I have now embarked on a plan to get my weight to where it should be, and to become healthier. And I MEAN it this time...

I'm putting it in writing.

Yes they do. It is very nice. I am actually a regaining lifetime member. When I became lifetime 20 years ago they gave you a keyring with a huge key on it. The key ring was just plain with the main thing being the huge key. However, within a couple of months it was all discolored and crummy looking so I don't use it. The quality of materials seems to have improved since then.

Excellent - that lifetime membership is worth a whole lot more than the key ring :), and it's nice to know that there is no time limit on regaining that status once you have lost it.

We are pulling for you! Welcome back!

Nancy announced that she was going to start a diet to lose some pounds she had put on recently. "Great," Rita exclaimed. "I'm ready to start a diet too. We can be dieting buddies and help each other out. And when I feel the urge to drive out and get a burger and fries, I'll call you first. "Wonderful," Nancy replied. "I'll go with you."

Great work racy, keep it up, you're getting real close to your goal. Passing that BMI milestone must feel good.

Alan,

I didn't think English food had a reputation for being that good! Stay away from the crumpets! Have fun on your trip; I'm envious.

Don't mention the crumpets!! They are a favorite of mine, along with fish, chips & mushy peas, pork pies, Yorkshire puds, dumplings, clotted cream with scones, and spotty Dick with custard. None of those foods are considered healthy.

That's great progress, keep it up!

I like the Hamwi calcs as they put me at the low end of my normal range.
