Back to the weight I was this time last year. That's a weight swing of 9lb during the year. But those fish & chips, meat pies and real ale were worth it.

With great trepidation I stepped on the scale this morning and was amazed and delighted that I had not gained weight over the holidays !

I was also . I have been eating more than usual . The only thing that saved me is I really do not like cake or cookies or most sweets and no one dropped potato chips on my door step .

LOL, DH has been dropping potato chips in my LAP, so I don't think I will have fared as well!

Since the weekly weigh ins keep me on track I'm back for 2012 . Down one pound from last week and my goals for this year are to lose another five and add weight training to my cardio . The good news is I have been selling my old clothes on ebay and buying new .

Phew, made it through the holidays intact, weight-wise. A day after we got back, Dec 31st, I weighed in at 177, but managed to shed 4lbs by this morning . DW is mad at me since she put on 2lbs during our trip away and hasn't lost any of it yet.

Great work Moe and SG, here's to a healthy 2012

Almost 3 months in range, and that includes Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year. That's the best run I've managed in a couple of years

Meant to post yesterday. I was really on a plateau over the holidays and finally am once more on the downward trend.

Started using the Concept2 daily last week so didn't expect to show any loss (starting heavier easier often results in some fluid retention). So, staying the same was OK

Using prior week's WW weigh in. Started WW mid-August, 2010

8/20/10 205.4
...
1/12/11 190.4
....
5/18 179.6
5/25 178.8
6/1 177.6
6/8 177.2
6/15 176.4
6/29 175.2
7/14 174.4
7/21 173.2
7/28 173
8/21 169.6
...
10/15 166.2

10/22 165.8
10/29 164.6
11/16 164
11/23 164
...
1/11/12 162

Losing slowly but at least still losing ...28.4 pounds in the last year

You've had a great year with your weight loss Kats, very well done indeed. Plus, you managed to maintain over the Holidays

Here's to 2012, don't be disappointed if you don't do more than maintain your weight, your body will need to adjust to its new 'norm'.

Med's are hell on wed weigh ins this time of year. I'm converting to annual ones beginning sometime in the future. Stay tuned.

It's common knowledge that maintaining med consumption is more important to overall health than weight reduction.
