Just checking, but in this case meds=alcohol, right?

That's what I thought. BTW, your targets are pretty much what I shoot for. "target 180 summer, 185 winter" Although at my height(6'), 175 summer and 180 winter would be a better goal. Right now I am 186. So not horrible. How tall are you?

Same - 6'. I would be better at 175 summer and 180 winter also. I could stand to lose 5 lbs but I'm not eating right - and of course the meds are not helping

Damn, I weighed this morning and was up a pound. Motivated me to take the dog to our local park and walk the 5 mile trail. Pretty day too, although a little cool.

I don't know why my appetite for sweets increase so much during the winter. Of course the holidays hurt. Oh well, the holidays are behind me so time to focus on getting in better shape.

Sweets, and chocolate candy in particular are like that with me as well. We eat a lot more over the winter holidays and then it's hard to cut back in the new year. It was a very pretty day here as well. DW,DS and I just got back after a leisurely bike ride out to a nice place to eat through some of our favorite wooded trails. I was very good and restricted myself to a bowl of the most delicious "Eastern Lentil" soup with a nice crusty roll and a glass of cucumber water.

Reminds me of the joke "I'm only one major illness away from my goal weight!"
