Nail fungus

I had a nail fungus on one of my fingers a couple of years ago. I went to the doctor, and he said he could either prescribe an oral med...or I could just use some household bleach on it about once a day.

I chose the bleach treatment, and the fungus went away in about 5 or 6 weeks.

It was cheap...and I was happy!!! Win-Win!!!

Vicks does indeed work. I would apply it once per day......sometimes twice if I could remember to do it. I started noticing results in about 3 weeks and a normal looking nail in about 3 months. I think you need to smother the nail with Vicks and let it set for a while for best results.....just my opinion.

Worked for me too. Saw good results within a week or two after starting to use it.
Was a pretty mild case of nail fungus, though.

Pulsed Sporanox (a week every month) cured it for me some years back.

I've also heard that the Vicks works well.

I think creating an unfriendly environment would probably help a lot.
I wear sandals a LOT now. If work is a problem, tell 'em it's "doctor's
orders".

I started using Vicks after reading this thread. I've used it daily for a week now and I noticed a big improvement. Thanks for the suggestion.......

Me too. I think it will take a couple months to see if it is really working or it is just my wishful thinking.
