Payroll for private caregivers

It's my first time posting on this forum, and I hope this is the right section for me to find an answer to my question.

I'm about to hire an in-home nurse to help with the care of my elderly mom. And I've been looking into how we'll manage the nurse's payroll and calculate the payroll taxes. I've decided to go with the option of software. So if anyone has been in this similar situation, please let me know if you recommend any good software products for those of us who hire in-home help.

Thanks so much! I appreciate any input.

I hired a home health worker from an agency .They take care of the billing and the payroll .If you hire someone privately there are apparently a lot of nurses who lost their licenses due to alcohol or drug problems that go this route so be careful .I use Caregiver's America and I couldn't be happier . They interviwed my Mom and I to see what her needs were and now we have someone three times a week who basically does the food shopping & taking my Mom to doctor's appointments ,etc..It's working so far but the amount of care she needs is changing each year .
