U.S. Food Consumption

A Gee Whiz overview with statistics and charts about what Americans eat, and the changes in diet between 1950 and 2000. Some of the changes are mind boggling.

Here are just two of many charts that show details that many of us would only guess at. Too many surprises for me to even outline here.
