WA Exchange: How to view network provider coverage

I'm thinking of FIRE in the next couple years and moving to Grays Harbor County in Washington state. Medical care does concern me since I'm used to Dallas, TX suburbs now under MegaCorp coverage where there are doctors and hospitals everywhere and I've heard that there are a lot fewer options in this part of Washington since it is away from the bigger cities.

So I went on the Washington insurance exchange to try to get a sense of the network providers: number, specialists, hospitals, distance. But I can't figure out how to compare the plans based on their provider networks. There is an option to pick a doctor and find out which plans include that particular doctor. But I don't have a specific doctor I want to include. Other than selecting one doctor at a time, is there a way to compare network provider size and see how many hospitals, primary care, and specialists there are?

And for Plans that cover multiple counties, could I go to any of their providers in the state--for example, if needed could I go to a specialist in Olympia or Seattle?

Also --it seems that for all but Moda, out of network expenses are unlimited. This is scary--not that I would plan to go out of network on purpose but I've heard of extra out of network doctors showing up without prior notification or approval during surgery.

Does anyone in WA have knowledge to share?

click "Add to Comparison" below the plan. Then and click "View Comparison (#)" at either the top or bottom. (#) is the number of policies being compared.

I still can't see list of providers and hospitals

Thanks -- I tried this and it brought up a table to compare the general information on selected plans. But I must be missing something because I still don't see how to view the provider network of any of the plans.

On the main page, I can add a single healthcare provider and see if he/she is included in the plan. But I don't see how to tell which plans have a broad list of primary care, specialists, and hospitals and which plans have narrow provider options.

And even when I use the main page to try to add either of the two hospitals I found via Google in Aberdeen (the closest city to where I am thinking of FIRE), there are no results for either hosptital being covered by any of the plans.

Maybe someone else can help. You lost me. I don't see the input you describe at the site.

Group Health covers these zip codes in Grays Harbor County: Elma (98541), Malone (98559), McCleary (98557) and Oakville (98568) as well as most counties in the greater Seattle/Tacoma area.

I assume you are looking for a small maritime oriented community you may be able to find a community you like along the Columbia River in Clark or Cowlitz Counties or in zip codes Wahkiakum County 98612, 98647 and have access to Kaiser health insurance.
