Why walk to work when you can walk AT work?

I debated whether this should go in the "Young Dreamers" section, "Fire & money", or here.

It could be worse, though-- these people could be on stair-steppers instead of treadmills. I guess the treadmill is bad enough while the stair-stepper would be just too depressing a career analogy.

Now if Facilities could just figure out a way to hook everyone to a generator with battery storage...

Re: Why walk to work when you can walk AT work?

In my younger days I used to use the LifeCycle up to 2hrs/day at work.
I think the sweat pools I left would have been a serious short-circuit
threat if it had been rigged to my computers.
I once was kicked out of a Golds Gym in Atlanta (while on business
travel) because the pool was about a meter across and starting to run
(I do clean them up when I am done, but I was still riding).

You'd think that the quality gyms would provide a ventilation fan... and a bucket.

Hell - I can't get a decent PC where I work (using redeployed crap) - so, I'm not too worried about the company spending $ on this (Fortune 30 company). Unfortunately, most folks work 10+ hour days, eat lunch at their desk and could use the exercise.
