WSJ Article of interest

It's a very short article but what I found really worthwhile were the two links to the Kaiser Family Foundation site. The first link is to an excellent report detailing the effects of Medicaid expansion under ACA, the second takes you to a nifty calculator that provides lots of incentive to keep your taxble income low in ER!

Perhaps most important words in the article-
"Come 2014, barring any delays in the health-care law's implementation, people will be able to buy insurance through new exchanges".
They have already pushed back the date for states to declare intention to set up their own exchanges, and it appears that many states have no intention of ever doing so. It is unclear if the Feds even have a workable plan (inc $$$) for implementing any health insurance exchange. Since open enrollment is to start in 9+months (Oct 2013) the question of delayed implementation of ACA is very real.
